How is the home visit price calculated?
Prices start at £80 for West London postcodes (Hayes, Uxbridge, Southall, Ealing, Northolt, Ruislip, Hillingdon, etc.). For wider London or the Home Counties (Watford, Slough, Staines, Luton, Reading, Guildford and further), the price reflects the round-trip travel time from Hayes. Send us your postcode by phone or WhatsApp and we'll give you an exact quote — no obligation to book. We always confirm the price before you commit, so there are no surprises.

Do you travel outside London?
Yes — regularly. We cover Hertfordshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire (including Luton). We can travel further if scheduling allows — just send your postcode and we'll let you know if we can help and what the price would be.
Are you DBS-certified and insured?
Yes. Our clinician holds a current Enhanced DBS certificate and full professional indemnity insurance. Happy to show both on arrival if you'd like to see them. We're also NMC-registered (Nursing & Midwifery Council).
Can you handle dementia patients?
Yes — home visits are often best for dementia patients. Familiar surroundings reduce distress. We work at the patient's pace, don't rush, and are happy for family members or carers to stay throughout. If you'd like to discuss your specific situation, please call us first.
What do I need to prepare at home?
Very little — a comfortable chair (armchair or dining chair) with good lighting nearby. We bring absolutely everything else. No towels, tissues, or equipment needed from you.
How long does a home visit take?
The clinical bit is 15-30 minutes. With setup and pack-down, allow 30-45 minutes total. We don't rush — if your loved one needs more time, we take more time.
Do you do care homes and group bookings?
Yes. If a care home has multiple residents who need treatment, we can come once and see everyone — discounted group pricing. Please call to discuss scheduling.
Do I pay when I book?
No. No deposit, no card details required. Payment is £80 by card (contactless) or cash after the visit, once you're happy.
What if no wax is found at the home visit?
If we've travelled to you and find no significant wax, we discount the visit — we only charge the full amount if treatment is delivered. Since travel time is our main cost for a home visit, the discount is smaller than the £25/£60 difference at the clinic. We'll always be honest about whether treatment is needed, and we'll discuss any adjustment on the day.
Can I book a visit for my elderly parent from a different address?
Yes, absolutely. When booking, just give us your parent's address for the visit. We can call you to confirm and you can meet us there, or we can arrange it directly with them if you prefer. Many of our home visits are booked by adult children for their parents.
